The Mission
The mission of the Athletic Development Office is to generate funding for Student-Athlete scholarships, facility improvements, endowed scholarships, and general support for the University of Memphis Athletics Department. This will be accomplished through the offices of Major Gifts, Tiger Scholarship Fund, and M Club by developing and cultivating relationships, which encourage private giving by individuals and businesses that share our values, commitment, passion and vision for Tiger Athletics.
There are approximately 3,500 Tiger Scholarship Fund donors. Thanks to the generous contributions of our donors, we were able to raise $7.3 million in annual donations for 2010. We cannot stop there and must keep moving forward to reach our goal $10 million in donations. Please consider joining the Tiger Scholarship Fund and help “Educate Tomorrow’s Leaders – Our Student-Athletes.”

Your donation is a crucial part of our strategic plan. At the University of Memphis, the Department of Athletics operates without significant University funding. All donations go directly to enhancing the Student-Athlete experience at the University of Memphis.
